I bought a new fountain pen ink called kawasemi / 翡翠 or Kingfisher Color! I think they did pretty darned good! Much prettier irl.

Crows have been acting wonky the last couple days. Curious flying & calls. More than usual are gathering in the area, too. Niblet seems to have made a friend (partner?!) and they're an equally goofy little bird. But I think it might be time for Buddy ' Sweet Pea to nudge lil' Niblet off on his own.

Some might argue my synchronicities are a stretch, but I'm super in silkworms at the moment -- studying them for my short story -- and then I'm out on an empty shore that is nothing but black stones and I come across this. You see a funky driftwood stick. I see a WORM!

A friend went to Italy and brought back some of these Pocket Espressos. And holy shit are they good, like dark chocolate and an, um, shot of espresso. Feeling a bit logy? Here ya go! 🙌

So I needed some comfort food. Walked to a nearby ramen shop that was full (good sign), but it was so bad 😥 it was kind of humorous. Chashu cold, dry, tough. Noodles, meh. Soup, boring. Gyoza, half raw! I've never had that happen here. 😕 Next ramen is gonna taste fantastic 😏
