Yooka Replaylee (Switch 2): Its really a shame the top brass at Playtonic did what they did, cause Yooka Replaylee could've had a fantastic reception. I really enjoyed it, and the team should be really proud of what they created. Switch 2 version needed a little more TLC however.

Perhaps its just nostalgia, but I really love how abstract the world of Mario Party is. How do the characters get from the game board to the mini game? Do they know they're pawns in a electronic board game? All questions I'll never have answers to.

Hardest part of a new year coming around again, is sitting and reflecting on all the prior years I've experienced. Becoming a parent has made me realize just how much time I wasted in my 20's due to severe depression, and I tried to do a bit more my first year of my 30's. Bring on 2026.

Legendary Rare designer Gregg Mayles has posted the full Stop 'N' Swop document for Banjo-Tooie! This includes plans for Donkey Kong as a playable character in Banjo-Tooie's multiplayer, how the Ice Key would be passed from Banjo-Kazooie to Donkey Kong 64 to Tooie (and beyond!), and much, much more.

They should force the owners of these AI centers to subsidize the communities increase in their power bill. If we're going to HAVE to have these stupid things sucking up energy, we as citizens shouldn't have to suffer for it.

Managed to finish the new event in two go's. The key to breaking this event is the Melon Juice multiplier. x20505 multiplier was wild to see.

I'm convinced Godzilla will become "Space Godzilla" in the new Monsterverse film. I have nothing to base this on other than my gut.

Loved the touch of Orga slowly turning green and growing spikes, mans really thought he had it in the bag.

I understand it's free advertisement for their game, but I'm really tired of these types events being only for streamers. I'd personally be WAY more interested in checking it out if it was mainly the actual fans of the game. (I'm aware some of the said streamers could be huge fans don't come at me)

Looking at RAM prices as I'm in the market for a new PC as mine's pushing 7 years old now and was a budget build those 7 years ago. I think I'm gonna be sick.

Man I'm still pretty torn on what platform to pick up Yooka Replaylee on. After trying the Switch 2 demo I don't think I can handle the 30FPS after playing the PS5 demo, but I hardly get any time to actually play my PS5 unlike my Switch 2... Really wish Playtonic could figure out how to get it to 60

Ive still been chipping away at Banjo Tooie. I'm beginning to come around on it tbh. Terrydactyland took on an entirely new vibe when I panned the camera up to find that it's not bright and probably warm here, but rather drab and probably damp.

We inch ever closer to DK64 and HOPEFULLY Diddy Kong Racing.

Day 48: Swanky Kong

Incredibly sad to hear. I wasn't ever a full blown Tekken head but being in the FGC I 100% knew of this man and the impact he's left on the scene. I hope he'll stick around as a fan like he used to 20 something years ago. Godspeed Harada, live the rest of your life to the fullest.

Day 47: We've saved the best for last as we're moving onto the "Crucial Kongs" starting with the main primate Funky Kong!
