Xel briefly died after the fight with Zenos -- between the leadup through Ultima Thule & the fight with the Endsinger, she didn't leave anything on the table with Zenos. The Scions were only able to bring her back bc of Dynamis. She was pushed to her breaking point & it took a while to recover.
