Went to a lovely little cafe in the countryside this morning. Bought a painting from the knicky knacky shop next door and said hello to a donkey in a field next to the car park. Productive morning ☺️

Been into town to meet a friend and did a bit of shopping. There's a fruit and veg shop that have ten different varieties of tomatoes. Bought some plum ones and this absolute giant ! 🍅 ☺️

On my way back from town I realised I'd forgotten to buy squash. Stopped at the garage shop where there wasn't a lot of choice, but I've got a tumbler of Vimto squash with ice !! I've not had Vimto since I was a kiddiwink... Takes me back 😁

I still play my DVDs sometimes. Went to play "A Room With A View" on Saturday and the main feature wouldn't play. Bought another one 2nd hand. It plays, and so does the faulty one which -wasnt- faulty, it was just me being a bit of a twat 🤦

Dad planted this rose bush probably over 30 years ago. In recent years it's only had one or two blooms on it and I confess I didn't even bother pruning it last year, but look at it today ☺️ 🌹🌹🌹

Just finished listening to Hugh Bonneville's autobiography "Playing Under The Piano".... It's very entertaining. He writes superbly about his family and his acting life. Often funny, sometimes sad but always interesting ☺️

Just sitting listening to the radio with the French window open and in came a little white terrier straight into my lounge like he lived there ! He belongs to the couple next door. I walked him out again and they were looking for him. Happy little chap 🐾 🐶 😂

My friend had asked her mum to get a few things at the supermarket for her including some pak choi. Her mum had no idea what they were, so asked a young lad in the shop to help her.... My friend received two little gem lettuces 😂

Using the hoe to do some weeding earlier, and was reminded of this gem from a colleague who was house sharing ... "We tried a bit of gardening at the weekend, but Ollie broke a hoe. That's " hoe" as in a garden implement...not a lady of the night" 😂
