Morning! Last few days I have been making lino prints. Not done it for over ten years, but have enjoyed it alot. Very therapeutic and calming to do in front of the telly in the evening. #printmaking #linocut

Jackson's poorly. Got my boy in 2012. I was incredibly ill for so much of those first 6/7 years. The things he has put up with from me. Self harming, drugs, way too much alcohol, moving house 12 times (!) so much crying, living without a bed for 18 months, getting sectioned and being away from him.

Hospital today for Roxy. Hoping they can offer treatment very soon. She can't move without agony so hope they take this seriously. I feel anxious. I'm very overwhelmed with this. Trying to keep calm and relaxed as much as I can. Will watch a film this eve, too many on my list!!!!!

Was in a nasty depressive hole over the weekend. Then lots of work done, a funding rejection (not ACE) some dog walks, a 3.45am start due to not being able to sleep, lots of anxiety and overwhelm due to bank charges, texts and panic for being £10 overdrawn... *rolls eyes in pissed off frustration*

I've always wanted to play football again. I used to be really good. I got scouted for the school of excellence and stuff. Then I became mentally ill, and couldnt keep that insecurity away, the chronically low self esteem and the voices in my head telling me that I was crap and a loser and a failure

I have decided to try and sort the back yard. Currently it is a disgrace (!) messy, filthy, concrete box. I cant sit out there as it is depressing.

11 years ago. Early in the day. I was serious as well. So much pain in my head. Now just over 21 months sober. No alcohol, no drugs. I still think about doing it every day but I am slowly figuring things out. How to keep going with sobriety, how to care for myself, how to enjoy other things.

My anxiety has been so high the last 2 weeks. It's always there but the past 2 weeks have been debilitating. Constant nauseous waves. Panic. Struggling with breath. Any advice? I take medication, I walk my dog etc I try to have baths and read and I eat pretty ok? #anxiety #mentalhealth

⚡️ Why it is a radical idea to crave a safe space to experience mental illness? For BGW it is no longer just a dream to ‘want’ better services, we demand this, and we will build these spaces ourselves alongside other creative, determined, frustrated communities.

This is someone you should be following and amplify if you are interested in art and mental health. Love their projects (and ahem: have even shown with them)!
