Some of the wood frog tadpoles from the big pond have graduated to tiny little froglets and are enjoying my garden! Thanks for being there little buddies!!

It’s that day!!

I got some spiders to show you, okay? Here we’ve got the male and the female of the dark fishing spider and the gentleman is trying to win the lady’s favor from a safe distance.

I was out checking on the wood frog tadpoles at the big pond and look who made himself known with a song! A green frog!!

Blinky used to be on a schedule where she would shed once a week after I fed her and put her in her water bowl, but now she’s shedding in the middle of the night and it’s a big surprise in the morning to see her all cleaned off!

I got all this weeded today and the darker part in the foreground planted. The sticks along the back are for peas and nasturtiums to climb up to the fence! Planted them 2 weeks ago along with sunflowers.

My poor peach tree has the leaf curl and it’s eeking me out. I’ve read people saying to cut off the infected parts, but I don’t know that seems a bit severe??

This bee was asleep on a dandelion on the lawn that I was mowing. I stopped and picked the dandelion and put it off to the side - an area safe from the mower. This is the level of kindness I strive to give and it’s also the level of kindness that I like to receive.

I saw another neat spood today! This time an American nursery web spider!

Here is a dark fishing spider that I saw today! She was a big spider, but not the biggest I’ve seen of this variety!

This little mystery tree IS in fact another peach tree… because it has developed leaf curl!😫 And mixed in with the golden glow with similar looking leaves is an abundance of… creeping buttercup!
