The EEA 2025 Congress in Bordeaux was so good—probably the best conference food (and wine) ever.

The @resmedia.bsky.social annual conference was exceptionally good. Wearing a suit during the hottest day of the year wasn’t!

The @aereorg.bsky.social summer conference was incredibly high level, and I expected a much more competitive atmosphere — but instead, it was welcoming and friendly. Academia can be tough — competitive, isolating — but this field has some of the kindest, most supportive people I’ve met.
