I love that technology lets me follow the Iditarod from Connecticut! I also love the #Igivearod fundraiser that raises money for the rural Alaskan communities along the Iditarod trail. There are lots of great projects and programs to support and lots of other ways to participate too

So, yesterday I mentioned the #Igivearod. This is an annual fundraising effort that runs in conjunction with the Iditarod but is not affiliated with the race or any musher or kennel. It started in 2019 and has raised over $350,000 since then for schools and non-profits in Alaska. 1/
