This may be huge in the midterms. Latinos showed up in droves for James Talarico in Texas last week. Last year they showed up in the gubernatorial races in New Jersey and Virginia. Toss-up races in Arizona, California, Colorado and Nebraska, among other states, should benefit in November.

Wisconsin is having statewide election in April for another seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Wisconsin Court of Appeals judge Chris Taylor is the Democratic candidate. Taylor’s victory would create a 5-2 liberal majority on the court.

This is not a Congressional race, nor a gubernatorial race. But it is a swing race. And it's heading to a runoff. Democrat LeMario Nicholas Brown led the Republican challenger by 15 points. Let's enjoy the runoff election on Feb. 17.
