Good morning! When I was out for a walk this morning, I saw a shooting star. It was dark and cold and I just happened to be looking up, hunting for constellations. I wonder how many shooting stars I've missed because I was looking at the ground.

Since using my right arm messes with the compressed nerve in my neck and causes muscle spasms if I'm not ergonomically perfect (and sometimes even if I am), I started going lefty with my mouse. Now I'm getting tingles and pings on the back of my left hand...soon I will need to mouse with my teeth...

Bronnya, (actual) bartender - already has your usual drink on the counter when you walk in, refills your glass before you realize you want more - clear voice, easy to hear even when it's noisy - unshakably calm and cool (except with her sister) - her eyeglasses are just for show

Sonnya, bartender - will forget your drink order - slowly pushes bottles and glasses off the edge of the table to clear them - doesn't talk much, always sounds like she just woke up (she might have) - terrible at her job but it's always busy when she's working for some reason

Watched A Better Tomorrow! Man, I fucking loved it. Chow Yun Fat's acting is so electric and raw -- every time he's on screen, I'm buying whatever he's selling, dude. Ti Lung also kills it, and their best-friendship is just...it rocks. The soundtrack fucks. The vibes are immaculate. What a movie...

I'm thankful that, even though drawing or using a mouse with my right hand both hurt with my compressed nerve, holding a controller by setting it in my lap works fine. I can use a mouse with my left hand, or hold and read a book with my left hand as long as I keep it at eye level. And I can type!
