In October, I went to see Utagawa Kuniyoshi exhibition. Higanbana (red spider lilies) were also at their peak. I'm drawing a picture inspired by them. They are one of the famous flowers in Japan, very beautiful, yet also carry a frightening impression, evoking thoughts of death.

Rough draft

This is a remake of a drawing of Oto(Oto-tachibana) I created 15 years ago. Oto is a Takeru's girlfriend and a white fox spirit. She freely controls water. Her headdress is based on a miko(shrine maiden)'s forehead band, while her feathered robe draws inspiration from ten'nyo(celestial maidens).

Making process. The final version will be uploaded in the few days. :)

This is a picture of my OC "Oto" that I drew in 2010 and uploaded on Deviant Art then. I'm drawing a remake of this picture in my current style.

My new OC dragon Mikazuchi. A friend who fights alongside Takeru the wolf anthro. I named him Mikazuchi, after the god of lightning and power in Japanese myth. He usually is as a young, but during battle, he can temporarily grow into an adult and unleash greater power than usual. Like Digimon.
