Friday Update: CT scan did not reveal much. Really the only thing was that something in her GI tract was a bit irritated and distended, which is what caused it to appear like a pocket of fluid on the ultrasound, but also why the fluid was revealed to be just GI material. There is no free floating

Okay. So. Big news. Idk if you'd consider it good or bad. It just kind of is. I will explain things the best I can. We are still waiting on various diagnostic results from all the stuff done today. They did find she has a heart murmur, and it's looking like maybe not heart disease.

She is doing a bit better this morning. She will be having an ultrasound and the cardio consult today. The long and short of it is that based on those results we will either keep going or not.

Alright, well, I was gonna plan this out better and maybe do a campaign of some kind, but with the Tufts appointment now being TOMORROW plans have changed. I don't know what all will be done tomorrow, but the original estimate was $3K and I needed to raise $1K more to reach that.

Called around and Mango now has an appointment at Tufts tomorrow at 10AM! She will likely be kept overnight to see the cardiologist as an emergency on Wednesday. I don't think they can do the CT scan yet and I don't know what will happen. This could still be goodbye, but we will see. Send good vibes

Mango has had a string of bad days. I weighed her and it looks like she has lost 13 grams. Mango let out a SCREM for the first time in days today! She has started 2 out of 3 meds (hoping the last one gets here tomorrow) and she's definitely doing better! Plus a lot of the platform perches have come in, so tomorrow I will rearrange her cage and she can finally rejoin the bird room!
