I think it's kind of rude when an artist comes up with a thoughtful little scenario or AU, depicts it thoroughly in art form, and then gets a bunch of comments like "WHERE is the fic for this" and "omg I NEED this to be a fic". Like. The art can be the whole idea.

I understand people like to have things get resolved in a sweet and gentle way, but imo, the core appeal of QuanYin's relationship is that it's fraught and full of problems. It's fine to depict post-canon YY wanting to marry QYZ but he also needs to want to punch him in the face.
