43rd book I’ve finished in 2025: The Witcher: Sword of Destiny by Andrzej Sapkowski I’m not big on fantasy, I only saw s1 of the show and thought it was just alright, and I played about 8 hours of The Witcher 3 before I fell off cause I didn’t like it… but I’m kinda digging these books.

42nd book I’ve finished in 2025: Consider Phlebas by Iain M. Banks Wasn’t sure what to expect going into this book. I feel like I’d like it more if I continued with the series, but idk if I felt this one was strong enough for me to actually keep reading. Idk. Not sure where I land with this one.

41st book I’ve finished in 2025: Star Wars The High Republic: Trials of the Jedi by Charles Soule A great conclusion to this phase of the High Republic books, but I still just want more.

It was alright. Glad it was now an anthology. Plus, never been the biggest fan of that What If art style. Feels like they could have opted to make a single movie instead of a 4 ep mini series, tightened up the story and it would have been more effective? Idk. Still, a decent way to kill two hours.

40th book I finished in 2025: Secret Identity by Alex Segura This was a reread so we could cover it on the podcast. Man, I really really enjoy this novel. As a comics fan, having this set in the midst of the comic industry is just incredible. The sequel is just as amazing too.
