I now have a KitchenAid Artisan burr grinder, and ignoring the fact that it's no longer sold in the EU since this year (ouch!), it's just wonderful. Relatively quiet, zero mess, detachable closed bean hopper, fun (but ultimately slightly ridiculous) timer programming. I love it.

Finished Ghost of Yōtei. 10/10. Not ashamed to admit the ending made me cry (and I'm a grumpy old German!) I pity the idiots who threw a fit about the game "being woke" just because it has a female protagonist and themes of forgiveness. Clearly these people weren't hugged enough by their parents.

Talked a little about Chatto's architecture in this thread. Another instance where it shines is E2E testing. Each e2e/integration test gets its own isolated Chatto server. Chatto starts up in under ~100ms, an easy price to pay for full isolation.
