It'll be a long while before this is stable, but I'm super excited about this direction. Here's me sitting in 4 Chatto spaces, each hosted by an entirely separate instance. Zero federation (which remains a non-goal for Chatto.)

A quick Beans update (thanks for all the feedback): the next version of Beans will ship both the TUI as well as the web UI as separate CLI commands to keep the core beans command lightweight. We'll find out where we go from there.

Here's my spicy Monday morning take: automatic agentic memory that lives outside of your repository/control is an antipattern. Being able to control exactly what the agent knows or doesn't know about your project is one of the strongest tools in agentic engineering, and OOB memory works against it.

Newest versions of VS Code somehow completely broke keyboard combo shortcuts while in the terminal. The editor shortcuts don't register at all, and even standard stuff like Ctrl-C no longer works. Anyone else have this?

What the heck happened to quality control at Logitech. Got a new MX Master 3S to replace my old one (failing primary button) and the glide pads are glues to the device in a way that it literally scratches against my mouse pad/table.

Prototyping multi-instance capabilities in the Chatto web client. If things work out, and so far they do, you can just plop your favorite Chatto spaces into your sidebar and things will just work as expected. Some big UX questions around DMs though, since those are instance-scoped.
