I feel like my journey has been super interesting lately. Between school, competing, and commentary, I have been so lucky to be able to do all of them simultaneously. BUT I WANT TO BE STRONGER

With the anime awards thought it would be cool to post this for posterity. I REALLY loved both Frieren: Beyond Journies End and Apothecary Diaries, and these results reflect that.

Feels good to do well at locals after doing so poorly at showdown, but I know I have a lot to work on before Combo Breaker and EVO. I feel like I have the right drive right now to do well in bracket, I just need to practice well and stay positive.

I took a lot of L's in bracket at Showdown, but I had an overall great time. Def the best Texas Showdown I have been to so far, with very few complaints overall. Hope to do better if I ever get another chance at a Showdown bracket, but its not looking likely next year.

Just wrapped credits on Monster Hunter Wilds and it was a joy to play! All the small gameplay updates in this game add up to a much less annoying experience and improve upon the already great hunting gameplay. No full review is coming, but it's great, and you should get it.

I will not be writing an article about it, but I recently dove into Zenless Zone Zero and it has kind of impressed me! It's not a masterpiece but its story was getting me interested by the time I hit the last chapter. Can't wait for more story!

Sonic 3 knows what it is and I am so happy that it does. It perfectly contrasts with other movies based on comics and video games that do not understand why people like those properties. It was fun, it had Jim Carrey hamming it up, I recommend it.

Got 65th in street fighter 6 and 17th in BBCF yesterday at CEOtaku. I was quite close to making it out again but I think my lack of motivation to grind recently really bit me. StilI, had a great time commentating some Strive and I'm looking forward to today where I will be doing bbcf top 8.

I am insanely tired from traveling, but I am happy to announce that I will be doing multiple commentary blocks this weekend for #CEOtaku. I'll say something when doing them but I am so excited to be part of such a great cast of commentators this year at taku.

I am finally at the final part of Metaphor ReFantazio and the thing that stands out to me the most is still the world and its themes. The game has so much to say about society and the messages and metaphors (ha) are much more natural than Persona 5.

On a brighter note, I am 35 hours into Metaphor: Refantasio, and I can confidently say it's my favorite Atlus story. I am not sure if the gameplay is as good as something like Persona 5, but the context of the story makes me enjoy it a lot more than that game. Article when I finish but it's great.

Shout out to anyone who got their Epic Universe tickets today! I can't afford to spend that much to go for one day, but the ticket situation seems promising enough right now to get just a single day when those go on sale. I'm glad that other than the price, it was not that hard to get tickets.

It sucks that Universal is making me buy a 3-day ticket for just 1 day at Epic Universe next year but I should have expected that. I'm glad I still have family in Orlando because otherwise, it would be way too expensive for me to plan a trip next summer.
