It's my birthday on Wednesday and the worst thing is that there isn't, and neither will there be this year, a card from me dad. Turned out he was very good at picking birthday cards - a much underrated skill - and I used to look forward to seeing what he'd found. I miss him so very, very much.

This weekend, I finally watched all three of the ‘Knives Out’ films, and enjoyed them immensely.
