You skipped over the fact that Rs in the General Assembly agreed to a Democratic plan to create a bipartisan redistricting commission, which voters approved in ‘20, in every jurisdiction but Arlington, yielding a regional integrity map, which gives Ds 6, Rs 4, plus 1 swing seat.

Add this to NRCC out-pacing DCCC, House R candidates being much closer to Ds in hard money than ever before, D primaries yielding kooks and you begin to see a framework for retention of Mike Johnson’s gavel. House GOP campaign infrastructure is rock solid.

I’ve been watching CNN and concluded the Democratic stance on Iran is: surrender, avoid using or producing missiles, and tolerate ongoing Iranian threats, even claiming Iran was less dangerous before. It makes no sense.
