I’m glad I get to help people in meaningful ways with my job… But man is it exhausting sometimes. The amount of people (of all ages) that come in needing tech help that don’t know what help they need or how to articulate it is just tiring. Computer literacy needed to be taught ages ago.

This time of year my garage is always invaded by spiders. Most I kill or remove, but some get to stay as free pest control. There’s this one near my bikes that I don’t take out really ever. I got a good look at it. Verified it isn’t dangerous and left it be. But today… 1/?

More tech help frustrations from work. One lady today asked me if there were signs to look for when someone got access to your phone because she was worried someone was intercepting her job applications… Like it isn’t more likely they just aren’t emailing you back…

They should make tech help on the same level as legal, medical, and financial help. You should need to be licensed to give it. That way I can legally tell people I can’t help them set up their laptop.

So I work in a library and when I tell people that they’re usually like “oh that must be such a peaceful place to work!” Nope. It’s parents doing nothing to stop their babies screaming and 1 dude with the loudest notifications on his phone that just won’t stop going off 18 times a minute.

Still struggling to get Jak 3 up to my standards or at least doable for long term. The emulator for it is just meh and I don’t want to have to break out my PS2 and catch up to where we are. So today I think I’m gonna start playing all the Halo’s on legendary. Starting with Combat evolved.

Helldivers’ PC optimization angers me to no end. For no reason at all the game interferes with OBS’ audio on my set up by making everything super quiet and I have to basically remix all of my audio to boost it. It’s only Helldivers too because if I have the game running but click off it it’s fine

Learned today that my optometrist is a super support dad of a trans middle schooler and that’s so fucking rad! I already liked him but now it’s even better knowing I’m supporting his business and directly supporting his love for his kid. I definitely won’t skip my yearly appointment anymore.

How’s it going! I’m back and alive. I no longer have any symptoms of Covid and am feeling 100%. I’ll be streaming again soon. I’m working on adjusting my stream schedule to better fit my irl schedule but for now I’m streaming whenever I can. Keep an eye out here for any communication!

Huge news for me. I just got hired to work in the tech booth at a theater. I always wanted to do something like this but never pushed myself to do it until now. It’s never too late to push towards your dreams. Never give up. What this means for stream I don’t know yet but I’m celebrating first.
