He didn't believe in magic. That was his second mistake. His first mistake was not apologizing to the crone he pushed past on the street. He laughed when she told him he'd better be careful who he offended that day because he'd be more willing the next time someone asked for an apology.

He loved surprise hypnosis triggers, so when his hypnotist made a suggestion that random words would become triggers that turned him on, he was excited. At first it was fun, but then he noticed that more and more words were turning him on

When he first saw the pipe in the antique shop, he felt drawn to it. The owner explained that it was one of only a handful of it's kind, so he bought it, thinking it would be a nice conversation piece for his mantel. Over the next few days though, he found his gaze being drawn back to it repeatedly.
