i know posting politics has gotten me blocked by some artists i enjoy...which majorly sucks, and i get not wanting to see politics when it is everywhere...especially on twitter/x & facebook, but i do want to get back into being an educational blog/profile for those wanting to get into leathercraft.

ok...i know i have been posting alot of political stuff on my profile when i said i would post leather facts... but the main reason is the state of the usa being the way it is and getting worse, it has me worried, but i also want to do my part to inform and fight back.

on another note. if you have a motorcycle/scooter/dirt bike/4-wheeler and tired of tying a tarp around it, a 6ft x 9ft beach shelter/tent works perfectly with plenty of room to work on it out of the rain.

it's been a very long process, but i am so happy to finally have a functioning vehicle and not have to bicycle everywhere, ride the bus and ask for rides. for those wondering it's a 150CC scooter with a modded gy6 longcase(geared to go 100mph, instead of 60mph)

...the electric bit though. that was me needing to put the fuse in the housing because the fuse fell off the spring clip. i got the new fuel pump, fixed the vacuum lines, installed a decompression tube and installed the fuse holder capsule. now it works perfectly...

...after i got my trike home, i had some engine issues of bogging down, electric cutting out, and not being able to go over 30mph. turns out the outsource shop that tuned the carb didn't install the vacuum line on the carburetor to the fuel pump, and my fuel pump had a vacuum leak...

...way, which made it so much cheaper and the shop worked with my budget(especially after it cost me $2000 for the time they struggled with wiring). from the moment i sent my trike into the shop to when it was done it took 1 year & a half and $5500, for full custom work....

...cleaning up damage from the first customs shop, then reinforcement of the weak parts and needed custom mods. after half a year, they called me in to help with wiring since they were struggling to make progress and luckily they let me help and work on it with them giving assistance the whole...

...trying to find why it wouldn't spark(dirty starter and sensor not close enough to the magneto), my wiring almost catching on fire in the process, battery issues, carb tuning issues, redoing the terminals on the wiring, dealing with unneeded parts in the way...

...what should have been simple wiring and parts, turned into a major headache as parts went from working to not, dismantling hardware to diagnose & trace wires, the front end struggling to stay centered with & on the bearings, wire organization, getting it to turn over, troubleshooting parts...

...which included a weird variety of things, not thought of for a customs vehicle shop that works on show cars, like RC cars, child bikes, and custom built trailers. they normally don't accept anything chinese (mainly due to wiring color coding being different, among other differences)...

...both shops shut down due to mental decline of owner...i thought my trike & myself cursed to never have a vehicle and or the spirit of my vehicle pissed i left it for 5 years to be damaged. luckily, i finally found a customs shop, that works on a wide variety of customs...

while looking(& constantly rejected), i bought new parts and customized the dash as much as i could, bought a new carburetor, replaced stock parts, while doing what i could. it went to 2 shops sat for a year at each with nothing done...

...wiring to go out on it one after another. i sent it off to get custom work on it only to be lied to for 2 years with the front end replaced and barely put on and an oil change i didn't ask for. i spent several years from there, trying to find someone to work on the wiring and fix the front end...

it's been a very long time since buying it brand new in 2014, it sat for 5 years at my mom's, unable to go up hills and unsafe to drive. sitting for 5 years it got major heat damage to wiring & rubber rot, from then it took so much personal repair & learning to get it to turn over only for the...
