Its a tie between the DRK quest finale where must accept her anger as part of herself, as well as face the grief of her mom's death, and the return to rabanastre raid where Sveina finally reunites with some of her closest friends and sees her old home in ruins after the Garleans bomb the city

Besides being naive and more than a bit selfish at times, Sveina is quite emotional - which on its own, isn't really a flaw! But as a dark knight who draws a lot of power from her feelings, well... it's caused problems in the past.

For Sveina: the whole reason she took up the greatsword is because her mom was the last one to master it back in their village, and it's better suited for large monsters For Reyn, despite being a white mage, she's actually prefers conjurery, using earth, air, and water actively in her fights

I don't know if it really counts as being special since it's not always intentional, but I always love catching that ray of light over my girls ☀️

Sveina is incredibly affectionate with her wife every opportunity she gets, but she's also quite loving towards her friends too. Always expect a big hug when she spots you out of the crowd Reyn is much more aloof, but she's learned to love Sveina's way of showing her feelings

Originally no, Sveina and Reyn were picked from a Scandinavian names website just because they sounded pretty. BUT their names were ultimately worked into their backstories in one way or another. "Soldottir" became a reference to how Sveina is a "daughter to the sun" (her greatly respected mother)

For Sveina, amber - bright, warm, and the color she most closely associates with death. For Reyn, pink - sweet, caring, but not too far from the passions of red

I dont know if I would say it's easy, but it's definitely noticable. Sveina's ears fold down when she's feeling shy or embarrassed

A little more meta, but one of my favorite things about Sveina's face is the beauty mark by her left eye. I've had to remind artists I comm of it being there and I made a joke about it in my fic that when Sveina gets her first Garlean wanted poster, shes a bit upset to find that little mole missing

I was honestly just so taken by the early Viera promos that Sveina ended up being almost entirely just the default Rava with some minor changes lmao

Sveina wouldn't mind drinking in the right company. She's definitely the happy, giggly kind of drunk. Reyn is much less likely to go so far as to get drunk, but I think she would be the type to get very handsy and flirty with her wife.. Just to pass out before anything happens

Sveina grew up in Golmore Jungle until her banishment at age 19, but she considers Rabanastre to be her real home after the five years she spent there afterwards. Returning to see it bombed out during the Ivalice raids was heartbreaking for her..
