Heavy Metal L-Gaim blu-ray box set get! This one is an all time dream release for me! No joke, I almost cried when I got the notification that it was delivered today. lol Holy hell I’m so glad I got to live to see this. ;w; I even busted out a poster I imported from Japan as a young man for this.

Super Mario Galaxy movie steelbook! I pretty much blind bought it because I had the first one. lol The soul of a collector is a fickle thing. Anyways, I guess this makes two film trilogies for my childhood video games. lol Ok, ok, I know not really. :P Never thought I would own all these though.

Day of the Dead 4K Collector’s Edition! The final entry in the original Dead trilogy; while all 3 of Romero’s films are masterpieces, I feel Day edges it out just a little bit more for me. I think it’s certainly the one I rewatched the most. I just finished watching it again right now even! lol

Ah yes, my next Discotek Deep Dive shipment from the MediaOCD Store! I didn’t intentionally theme it or anything but it’s funny that my order has both legendary gag dubs Bobobo and Ghost Stories. Honestly these dubs hold up so well, they really get me cackling still. May was a cute romcom too.~

Mamoru Hosoda’s Scarlet 4K steelbook. Gonna be honest I blind bought this. 😅 I love Hosoda’s work a lot but I haven’t kept up w/ his new stuff. Still I weirdly wanna keep collecting for his filmography and especially get all his steelbooks. Hopefully this will be hype when I watch it though! lol

Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe was incredible! This easily clears as my movie of the year, I’m totally willing to call it already. lol Absolutely insane animation, you can really tell why it took 5 years to make! Maybe the best looking mecha anime I ever seen. Theatre gave me a card too! 😃

Got Seven of Seven on sale for cheap on the Media Blasters store. I remember this anime used to be streaming EVERYWHERE! They were practically giving it away; it was always on those free w/ ad streamers way back when. lol Besides that … the dub being largely the Pokémon cast is also nostalgic.

Another haul from the MediaOCD Store! I “fell victim” to the latest round of their Discotek Deep Dive initiative. lol Most expensive get this time was me splurging on the entire Keroro Gunsou anime. Seeing 4 of the frogs lined up on the spines makes me hope the film collection has the last one. :O

I backed this kickstarter for the American made Tenchi Muyo comic on a whim since it seemed interesting and I’m really impressed w/ it. I’m blown away for the era this was published in to capture anime art so perfectly. :O And you can tell the love for the series. Reading it made me wanna rewatch.

Some new manga!!! Dai no Daibouken is finally back after a long ass hiatus! And together with Mark of Erdirk that’s two Dragon Quest manga in one month, baby! Destroy All Humans & DQ have pretty much become my comfortable “usual”. You’ll see me at every volume release. lol

Got some new blu-rays! It’s great to see networks put out more mainstream animation on home media, especially when said home media is blu-ray. BD is way too often passed on for DVD, drives me nuts. lol I quite liked both of these shows, very happy to be able to own them. :)

New Gundam blu-rays! Endless Waltz 4K came w/ this big acrylic stand. Seriously it’s practically a poster. :O Glad we finally got a domestic Seed Freedom release but steelbook only AGAIN. *sigh* It doesn’t match my other 55 domestic Gundam blu-rays! Oh yippie! Thanks CR, just what I wanted ;’D

Got the latest Mega Man figure from Jada Toys! I feel like this took forever to come out but it looks incredible! I really hope we can get a Proto Man figure soon too, but for the time being pairing him up w/ Fire Man (my favorite Robot Master) looks so cool! I love the bonus little Met too. lol

Ended up getting some more “waifu figures” this week. lol I guess I have been on a pretty big Kugi Rie nostalgia trip lately. When I was in high school I watched so many anime where she played the main heroine. Reorganized my shelf b/c of this purchase -- I think it’s looking pretty nice right now.

These new Mario amiibos really are crazy nice. The Galaxy ones in particular being insanely huge too!!! :O I had to really rearrange my shelf adding these. Probably gonna hafta keep moving things around too until it’s perfect, but dang, these are some of the best amiibo I seen in forever.

Amazon had a Discotek sale so I ended up splurging again. Sadly missed out on getting Kamen Rider Amazon before it sold out but was able to fill out most of my Metal Hero collection real cheap. Flame of Recca is just a fave of mine and I since I been buying lots of Toku Kikaider only felt right.

New haul from the MediaOCD Store! I splurged on more blu-rays from their Discotek Deep Dive initiative. I have to say I did not realize their Gavan and Sharivan releases were actually in HD! I thought they were SD on BD like the other Metal Hero entries I own. These look gorgeous on my TV!

Tobe Hooper was able to create one of the best damn vampire movies of the modern era when he directed this 1979 mini series. So many iconic and downright haunting scenes that just cannot be topped. I was so psyched to see it get this deluxe treatment! Such a step up from the old barebones blu-ray.

Got a huge order from the Crunchyroll Store. Two weeks back they had a major sale and I kind of went whole ham; so many blu-rays were 50% off or even more. Honestly this is what I was waiting for, for so long! lol Felt like their Birthday and Christmas sales have been shit for years.

I double dipped for Prime Rose. lol It helps that Animeigo gave me a discount. I’m gonna keep both releases but mainly b/c I find a new anime publisher putting out home media such a novelty. The Animeigo packaging (especially w/the O card) is much better but SkySet release had a charm to it.
