It's the end of Native American Heritage Month, which is usually in my peripheral vision. I was "in the area," and I decided to visit Pine Ridge and pay my respects at Wounded Knee. I was the only person, but guys came pretty quick. Sun Bear and his friend showed me around. A sobering remembrance.

Today I am thankful for the many blessings and opportunities in my life, most of which I owe to someone else's generosity.
