I use 300mcg of Melatonin 3 hours before bed. Has been very helpful in maintaining a schedule! In the US, it's often sold at massive doasages like 3mg, 5mg or 10mg. That stuff's counter productive.

Year end weight loss update! 235lbs > 201lbs. Mostly over the last 2 months, but the 235 max was over the summer when stress levels were absurd. Next step: 170. Then the lifting begins in earnest.

Comparing our position from 2023 to 2024 is simply unreal. All metrics of health (performance, team morale, creative fire) are drastically improved. For the first time in a long time, I'm excited for the new year in a 'raw' sense. Not a 'psych myself up for battle' sense.

Eternally grateful for my team. The lads have rallied around, worked hard together, and we're in so much more healthy a place. Feels good. For the first time in a long time, I'm looking forward to the new year without fear, anxiety or trepidation.

Yessir! - External circumstances led to me working 6-7 days a week to stay financially solvent. I ended those circumstances! - Evening journaling practice. - Changed media diet (more music, less 'info-noise') - Deprogramming stress responses borne of trauma. - Going the fuck to sleep!

Weight loss update! I'm now 209.4lbs on the scale. Started this leg at 222. I think my heaviest was around 235. Still hitting a 1000 calorie deficit with ease. Which is insane to me. Subjectively, this is far easier than previous 500 calorie deficits. Feels sustainable?

Production update! Even though two of the writing team had a flu, and I've now got a cough, we're somehow far more ahead of schedule than normal! This 'feels' like a Friday, but it's actually Thursday lmao.

Just about no-one knows the external pressure we were under until recently. Eventually, you need to fundamentally change things or risk going under.

Giant upside to our internal re-org. We now have Warcraft content planned from now until December 26th. I'm so glad we stopped to take a breath and change how we work. We are now able to ship more videos & better videos (more production time), while being less stressed.
