Prepping my home of 16 years to start fresh with new perspectives. Didn't think I had the courage to do it, but with each piece that is dismantled I'm breathing fresh air. Time for a new family to make memories here. On a brighter note, scaling down means more time for writing.

Random thought: Honesty doesn't have to be radical. It can be kind, considerate and empathetic.

The short needed a lot more work than I originally thought. As usual, I tried to put too many plot points in a short space, but I honed the story's focus and got the word count down to where I want it. Still learning, but I'm getting there. Hope all is well, and if not, I hope it gets better. 🤎🤎🤎

Developing a fully rounded character within an 80k plus book is tough enough, so those of you that can do it in 5k or less are amazing! I'm working on it, but it is one hell of a challenge for me. Thanks to those that have been helping me out! I swear, I'll get it someday. 🤎🤎🤎

One of my favorite parts of #Writing is when I'm in the development phase and the story starts to piece itself together at the oddest of times. (Not when I'm behind the computer screen, of course, because that would be too easy.) 🤎🤎🤎
