My back of the envelop math says turnout was way down for the primary compared to 2018 (the last open primary for gov.) 630k voters for the SQ yesterday compared to 892k for medicinal marijuana. 575k voted for gubernatorial candidates in 2026 vs. 848k in 2018.

892,000 votes for medicinal marijuana. With 85% in just over 521,000 for raising the minimum wage.

As was pointed out to me, it was obviously Mullin who is heading DHS and not Lankford.

The SQ is down 58-42 with 55% of the vote in. It is only winning in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Cleveland County.

Tedford now up 30-28.

Drummond still up by a bit with over 50% in. Runoff still happening with both at around 25%.

It's early but the the Trump endorsed candidate Mike Mazzei is slightly behind Gentner Drummond for Oklahoma Governor. This will go to a runoff.

The max gerrymandering wars with frequent redistricting could return us to a weak version of the state party boss world where state legislatures draw districts to favor particular candidates depending on where they have a home. (Candidates can move but that puts them at a slight disadvantage).

A couple of question for my survey research friends. How does not having a "Haven't decided yet" option influence a multi-candidate poll? I'm looking at a survey where 100% passed the attention check. Is it safe to assume those that failed the check were not included in the results?
