A @tanstack.com start design question ( @tannerlinsley.com @tkdodo.eu ) Why do you have to THROW a redirect instead of (early) returning it? tanstack.com/start/latest... Throw is commonly supposed to handle an erroneous situation. Redirect doesn't seem like one. TIA for response!

I really like the "modified TDD" idea from @ducin.dev where you don't write the whole tests with assertions and everything upfront, but instead you write empty, well-described test cases upfront. This way you codified the requirements and some edge cases in the code before writing implementation.

🔥 reusable code != reusable effort 🔥 Maintain carefully what others can easily copy and adapt, without introducing dependencies. @shadcn.com's approach to maintaining component libraries is the way forward. They applied the strategy which seems to be optimal for big products.

As I was analyzing limitations of useMutation in @tanstack.com query, I though "useSingleMutation" would describe itself more clearly than "useMutation". People fail to realize there's no concurrency in useMutation. Thoughts? CC @tkdodo.eu @tannerlinsley.com
