GAME IDEA: CLOWN FUNERAL 🤡 This one is like “Banquet of Souls” but different theme: a Va-11 Hall-A type of game where you serve drink/food to characters while unraveling their stories. This one is what if a world made of clowns with their own clown society.

GAME IDEA: SPACE IDOLS ⭐️ Many of you know about this idea. You go with a popular intergalactic boy band on an interplanetary tour/inspiration trip. It’s mean to work similar to MonRoad, but the LOCATIONS are PLANETS.

GAME IDEA: CHESS FOREVER ♟️ Chess 2 just dropped… and you may not be ready for it. You came to the big city to become the next chess grandmaster, but here chess is constantly evolving with all sorts of new rules!

GAME IDEA: MULTIVERSE OF THIRST This idea has two shapes. One was a sort of MonRoad-ish but you travel through different dating sims. But all players played a turn on a given dating sim (and visited a total of 3, from a selection of 9-15 total).

GAME IDEA - CRYPTID CAM Cryptid Cam is a semi-idle game about snapping pics of cute cryptids. The game would sit on the corner of your screen while you use your PC for other stuff, and every now and then cute little cryptids would appear for you to capture with your camera!

GAME IDEA - OUR WEIRD LITTLE VILLAGE Our Weird Little Village is a narrative game where you are a new neighbor in a cute little village with a dark twist: in a few weeks there will be a twisted festivity in which a neighbor will be voted to be sacrificed.

GAME IDEA - ONCE UPON A TRIAL Once Upon a Trial is a comedy lawyer simulator(think Ace Attorney) that takes place in a fantasy world. You must solve a tricky case… but it’s NOT a murder case!

GAME IDEA: ZODIAC THIRST Zodiac Thirst is a comedy dating sim in which theplayers join a team of 12 cosmic deities, each one a zodiac sign, whose work involves the menial drudgeries of building new planets from scratch.

GAME IDEA: TROLLEY FOREVER Trolley Forever is a classic “choose-your-own-adventure” type of visual novel based entirely on the trolley problem. There will be no stats; just choosing paths and seeing different branching stories with very absurd humor.

GAME IDEA: BANQUET OF SOULS Banquet of Souls is a visual novel centered around serving food/drinks to people while you get to know them better (think of Va-11 Hall-A or Coffee Talk).

By end of this month we will implement the next guest in “Monster Prom 4: Monster Con”: Nanase! Are you ready to romance the most suave tengu out there? 👺

Going into "Monster Con" we had one thing clear: we must create a character with a big "Tumblr Sexyman" energy.

This was never going to happen due to how off-character it feels... but the world deserves to witness it. Behold: Milo's discarded idea for their cosplay.

Discarded panel for the credits (the part that's comic panels). We discarded it because while we loved the image, it didn't fit the vibe of the music that much. But hey, some may appreciate seeing this one, even if only in sketch form.

We weren’t sure on Omen colors at first. Darker tones seemed to suit them better. The outfit wasn’t clicking either. The exposed thighs didn’t feel like a great choice aesthetically, and it didn’t feel like something Omen would wear.

FUN FACT 1: Omen was the last RO decided for “Monster Con” FUN FACT 2: Mamimi was heavily considered for that last spot; but we really needed an angry character, as they tend to be great catalysts for conflict. Codename was “OVERLORD”.

For a hot minute, we were unsure between clown April or trash April (who probably would have not been named April, tbf). We favored clown April nonetheless, which can be seen on how we explored more options for clown-themed mascots. Still: fairy raccoon rocks.
