For map generation I've opted to use Perlin noise, and write the values out to a texture. You can see the "debug" view of the proposed map in the bottom left corner which shows different shades of red, indicating different possible tile types you'll encounter. #indiedev #gamedev #procedural

Aren't LLMs amazing? It only took me 12 hours and 750 dollars in credits for the machine to tell me that a file being "in the computer" means they're just on the screen, and NOT actually in the computer box. Without it I would have just poked everything in there with a fork! This is the future!

There will always be hits, but the capacity for hits is always limited , the capacity for fandom, communities and consumer loyalty is not determined by scale tho. That's why we have local bands and local authors and so forth. But games must always be a universal hit. Why?
