It's been a chilly and windy day here in Lansing. Birds have been busy. Currently I'm watching Peter Cottontail munching in the grass. Rocky the Squirrel has been running around in the grass and on my patio. No sign of Bullwinkle though.

Happy Saturday to all. It gloomy and a little chilly this morning. My friends the geese and ducks just waddled by, as the birds are flying in and out of the tree. No sign of the squirrels yet this morning.

Last week and this week, I had been summoned for jury duty, happy that I didn't have to report. Was originally summoned for last fall, but colon cancer got in the way. Since I will be 70 later this year, won't have to do it again. One advantage of being older that dirt!

It's a pretty day here in Lansing. Temp is 74F, the sun is shining and the lawn is getting mowed for the first time this season. Also again today, the birds are singing to me. I am at peace.🙏

Today is Jackie Robinson Day The day the color barrier was broken in baseball.

Streaming Phillies baseball. Some of the commericals are local for Michigan. I keep seeming a political ad for Aric Nesbitt, who is running for governor. Typical republican spewing about the felon, getting jobs back from China and our "woke schools". What a doofus!
