I anm experimenting with group warm ups before assessments. Ss get 3 problems to work on in a small group that are related to the assessment before getting the assessment. Noticing a lot fewer questions of me during the assessment, and much less stress. Anyone doing something similar? #iteachmath

I’m glad I’m here

I and a few other teachers have been asked to sing bass for our school choir (which has no bass singers). My students are beyond excited for this, despite the fact that I'm nervous as heck. A reminder to myself to be as excited about their learning and performance as they are of mine.
