I have a Chromebook. ChromeOS on a device that is hardly more than a glorified phone with a keyboard. I discovered today that it can run Linux on a container. I'm running VSCode with Acme assembler and VICE now. Why did I not know this sooner? Very pleased :)

Not quite sure if I have always really understood this. But when you bank out the Kernal ROM on a Commodore 64 to copy in sprite data or a custom character set for instance, it is important to bank the ROM back in. An NMI might occur that calls a Kernal routine causing a crash.

Just for those who are nerdy enought to be interested. I managed to compile and run the ZooManiaPreview code last night. Took me all day. C code and assembly compiled by CC65 using MS VSCode and VS64 extension.

Jeff Minter (for Atari) has released a NEW game called I, Robot. Available on Steam now (about 15 euros, go Jeff). Looks like the usual Jeff Minter sauce, this time based on Amidar but taken to the extreme. No doubt there will be the usual sheep noises.
