Data and Lal went to their forever home together today and I am deep in my feels. Love those babies so much.

So many cute babies in my house right now while @crits4cats.bsky.social deals with two very sick panleuk kittens.

Let this be your sign to buy a cheap leash and just keep it in your car. This sweet girl ran up the on ramp onto a major highway. She wasn’t letting anyone get near her but thanks to a bunch of kind people who stopped, we were able to corral her and get my leash looped around her neck (no collar.)

This sweet girl is Shoyu. Shoyu came to us a full YEAR ago, found outside with her two kittens. She’d clearly never been around people before and was completely terrified, but not aggressive. The area she was found in was unsafe to return to for TNR so we decided to give socialization a try. 🧵

Just got Charlos set up at the local Petsmart to get more eyes on him and find him his forever home. Guys, he is So Good. Cuddly, chill personality, full of purrs, so handsome, good with kids and other cats (and likely dogs too!) Someone give this boy the home he deserves!! (based in Elkton, MD)

The other day, our rescue’s only car died. Because it also doubled as my personal vehicle, I struggled with the decision to ask for donations to replace it. But the fact is we need a car to function. No rescues, vet appointments, adoptions, NOTHING can happen without a car. donorbox.org/crits4cats

These two are still not eating great on their own and are getting regular tube feeds, but their energy is definitely back!!

Whelp, Lal has officially boarded the calicivirus train with a goopy eye. Good news is she’s still gaining weight, so for now we’ll get some drops for her eye and continue to monitor closely.

Little man has ulcers in his mouth, probably from calicivirus, which explains his eagerness to eat and yet not latching well. So we have a plan for tube feeds and fluids and some medication to help his poor mouth feel better.

At the vet with Data, trying to figure out why our previously chonky boy has started rapidly losing weight.

She is still waiting, not a single app for this incredibly silly, sweet baby girl. Here’s some new pics to share around!

Spot has had a stressful 24hrs with car rides and vet visits. But it’s all downhill from here sweet girl! We’ve got the medicines she needs and she’s all settled in with lots of yummy food and cozy places to sleep. And we found out there are 2 babies in that belly almost ready to make their debut!

If you’ve ever considered fostering, now is the time!! You only need a small space like a bathroom or a place to put a playpen, and we can match you up with any age/experience level, all supplies and vet care is covered by the rescue. You can make a huge difference for kittens & cats like these.

These babies are affectionate and cuddly and go full honkers bonkers on the regular. In other words, they’re perfect.

The very affectionate & lovable Violet is now available for adoption! She still needs a short time to finish recovering from her spay, but we are ready to start taking applications for her. She is a sweet girl who is so grateful to be indoors after a hard life scraping by at a trailer park colony.

Violet, who has always lived outside sheltering under under trailers, has picked up quickly on the fluffy bed life.
