Went to No Kings gathering in Marble Falls, TX, a county which voted 80% for Trump, and more than 500 folks gathered on bridge over Lake. Wow. So Amazing.

Some of today’s commentators did not grow up in the 80s. For those youngsters, bullying was pretty bad, actually. I had to call my mom to leave a birthday sleepover at one point because the other kids were throwing pennies at me all night.

One of the Texas national guard bases was a mile from my house when I lived in Austin. During the 2021 winter storm, when Texans froze to death in their beds, that national guard station was nice and warm, and no one was ever deployed to help.
