Here is another shot from Monday. Fellow photo friends that do not shoot Canon. Do you notice your camera's struggle with reds? I feel like the reds are clipped a bit on the wings. Exposure comp can help me if the entire bird is red, but not with a dark bird like this. #birds #photography #eck

I did rework a different shot using my typical workflow and being more careful with pushing shadows. If you zoom into the middle of the fish, you will see an orange spot. I think that is the beak that didn't quite make it through, although it is hard to tell 100% 🤷🏻‍♀️ #photography #eck #birds
