#Dazzling started out like Katy Perry’s song “Fireworks” only to fizzle. We go through all the ups & downs of first love, senior year, people, daily life, tragedies, & learning what a family is. Their youth was covered well, but as we got to episode 20-ish & on it became average.

Ep 2 of #TicketToHeaven was beautifully directed. The lighting & intense focus on Tanrak’s eyes changing from bewilderment to awakening was 👩🏽‍🍳💋. Add on the increasing intensity of the score & you have a cinematic episode. I hope #Fourth & #Gemini have a chance to showcase their acting beyond #BL.

Good post to read if you are considering #TeachYouALesson. I came into this #kdrama purely for the entertainment purpose. I didn’t think about the political influence or ideology that can be interpreted from it. If just entertainment it serves its purpose. Anything else is up to you as the viewer.

I so appreciate the focus of #TeachYouALesson on protecting & giving justice to the victims, which can be students, Educators, or parents. Victims need a voice & someone willing to protect them as they seek justice. It was satisfying to watch this #kdrama give victims the focus.

#TeachYouALesson does not shy away from addressing societal & systemic issues that directly impact access & marginalizes the ones without advocacy, voice, status or monetary means to fight & dismantle the injustices. Really enjoying this #kdrama.

#MeetYourself is coming to Netflix. I have a love/hate relationship with this platform as it represents corporate greed that I loathe. Yet, it brings underrated dramas to a larger audience, gaining for the dramas the attention they have rightfully earned.

I have watched the first 8 episodes of #Dazzling & it seems simple in premise, but has some nice undertones of healing to it. Reminds me a bit of how things unfold in #LoveStoryInThe1970s, a #cdrama I loved, to show the struggles & growth of the leads. #LiYunRi has a good match in #GuanXiaoTong.
