Man I should do this but with Cantabile

Currently thinking about how Cantabile is consistently depicted with a well-developed posterior in official Arknights media- not that I’m complaining, of course. this has been the drifting canta thought of the day

I have Ideas for a new set of Cantabile drawings but the reason I think it’s a good idea it will make sense to nobody unless I make a long thread about why the lyrics of Stranger Than Heaven (RGG pls release the full song) almost perfectly line up with her entire backstory

The doorways in Qalaisa’s house (the house we so rudely destroy in IS4) are probably super tall so she doesn’t have to duck through them, now that I think about it

If you include her horns, Qalaisa takes up a staggering 216.4cm / 7'1" of space and can no longer fit through a standard 80 inch/203cm doorway...

The last 4 things i drew took 10-15+ hours each and i think a solid 3 hours of that can be reclaimed by unlearning bad habits from the last 5 years of meandering scribbles I've done

Reread A Kazdelian Rescue just to refresh my memory on Qalaisa’s whole deal. It’s more info to inform future drawings of her beyond doing so because she’s really tall… and has an amazing figure… ok, that might still be a primary motivation.

Qalaisa is approximately 189cm / 6'2.4" tall barefoot (holy shit) Since she is next to Mitm in a Nymph event CG, I can estimate her height using his known height + pixel measurements

Ukusik is in fact a Liberi with strangely pointy ears- and is only 11 years old. Cantabile: “Respectfully, Doctor… what the FUCK” Ukusik certainly isn’t the first child operator that Canta has met, but her addition has me thinking about how Canta views RI’s underaged combat personnel. (1/6)
