Visiting the first retrospective of Artus Quellinus (Artus Quellijn de Oude 1609-1668) at the Paleis op de Dam (Royal Palace) in Amsterdam. He made beautiful marble statues, this one is called 'Jealousy’. Amazing how he was able to carve such details, like that snake pinching a person’s cheek

Mick ‘Ronno’ Ronson would’ve been 79 years old today. He was an arranger and producer, but he’s mostly known as David Bowie’s brilliant guitar player. He’s also the one who played the piano on Lou Reed’s ‘Perfect Day’ and wrote the string arrangement. I got his book in 2013, time to read it again.
