Only one RSD Black Friday release interests me - that’s the Steven Wilson mix of Ultravox’s “Lament” album. Comes with 2nd LP of instrumental versions. I heard the digital version & it’s great. Wilson has a way with taking the original multitracks, making them sound better + doesn’t wreck anything.

This is Betty’s Bakery in Park Slope Brooklyn. The location was a smoke shop for the 1995 film “Smoke” starring Harvey Keitel. The location features prominently in the film, although at the time the store was larger - it’s since been divided in two, with the other half ironically now a smoke shop.

Good album. The original DMM LP I have sounds good too. It was controversial that’s she was a “lesbian” at the time.

This 1987 U2 doco is quite interesting. At the height of their visibility with the Joshua Tree, it focuses on U2’s political influence (mostly in Ireland) at the time. As much as Bono has been derided over the years, U2 did a lot of work to highlight issues through music youtu.be/aTFh3vvAhMc?... ⬇️
