The way people discuss Devils Plan drives me up a wall. How can you equate the way someone plays a game with their moral code in a real life situation.I won’t trade resources with a losing player in Catan, doesn’t mean I wouldn’t give up all my resources for a struggling friend in reality.

I have finished Clair Obscur, I was pretty indifferent about act 1, but the story really picks up in act 2 and 3. Gameplay is kickass throughout. If the game had a map I might have considered doing all of the post game stuff too.

People saying they've been waiting a decade for a game like Clair Obscur Expedition 33 when P5 and Metaphor exist is crazy.

Gotta say, didn't expect Clair Obscur to have a side area dedicated to a Foddian "only up" style minigame.

I think I've figured out why Clair Obscur is missing that Narrative JRPG juice for me. It's the fact that there are none of those little moments with no voice acting where the less important things about the characters and plot are explored. It's just what is worthy of voice acting.

Clair Obscur got me good, I thought he wouldn't be in this one and then suddenly BEN STARR strikes again. He's been in almost every game I've played lately, he's great so I'm not complaining but it's like everyone roughly 7 years ago or so went "This is the new guy, he's gonna be huge."

If anyone is struggling with the parry/dodge mechanic in Clair Obscur E33 here's two tips for ya 1. It's mostly sound que based so turn up your sfx 2. If you don't wanna do it just buff the shit out of your characters defense, battles will take longer but you'll be at no risk of being one shot.

I don't know why games always introduce cool systems like the weakness based take downs in Atlus games or like Parry in Prince of Persia Lost crown and then the further you get in the game the more they abandon them for the sake of "difficulty"

Having no map what so ever in Clair Obscur E33 is not my favorite thing. I'm not huge on exploring but even if I was I'd like to have at least some kind of indication that I wasn't running around in circles. The environments aren't unique enough within themselves for any guarantee of this I feel.
