Well, here we are, my birthday. Another whole year closer to the grave. While so far I'm not feeling as bad and depressed as I have some years in the past, the day still has me feeling somewhat down. Hoping it doesn't get any worse.

One week until my birthday. I have no plans for the day and don't think I will end up making any. Actually doing my best not to think about it too much. Just thinking about my birthday today has been starting to get me down. Maybe the day itself won't be so bad, we'll have to see...

At least my time resting and recovering recently hasn't been a total waste. I decided to do something different and check out a furry visual novel. After all, I do want to try my hand at making one at some point in the future, so should probably sample what's out there.

I'm doing somewhat better now. Still not 100%, but a lot better than I have been in days. I'm hoping I'll be back to normal before too long. At this point, I am so sick of being sick...

I feel fucking awful. Been kind of low level sick for a few days, but having to do a long night at work last night somehow seems to have made it worse. Doing my best to just rest...

Well this sucks. Been trying to get back into my art again the past few days (haven't done any for the past few weeks during jury service, as I didn't have the time and/or energy to work on anything). But both times I had to stop after a short while due to my shoulder starting to ache.

Jury service is now done! Thankfully, it was only one extra day, but it was a long and tiring day. However, it is now over and I can start getting back to normal.

well, another fucking horrible day. More hayfever and hot weather (although not quite as bad as yesterday). And confirmation that my jury service will continue into next week. Thankfully, I now have a long weekend to relax, due to a bank holiday on monday, and bloody hell I need it, I am exhausted.

What a horrible day today has been. Hayfever, weather that is too hot, and I'm still stuck on jury service that is really dragging on. Plus, there is a possibility the jury service might end up going into next week, beyond the two weeks I was supposed to do.

Well, this has been a busy week for me. A horribly busy bank holiday monday, then four days of jury service. Which has been an interesting experience, and I still have to go back next week. But it has left me quite exhausted, physically and mentally. Really need to relax and recharge this weekend.

Got a little time off work, intended to spend it relaxing and working on art stuff. So of course now is the time I start to get sick, that's the way my luck goes. At least it doesn't seem to be too bad, been feeling weak and tired all day, and have started getting dizzy spells. Still very annoying.

Been thinking a lot about the year ahead the past few days. I'm not really one to do new year's resolutions as such. But I do have some vague hopes/goals for this year and thought I'd share them.
