Inducted my latest (American) visitor, @asicfx.space to the most quintessential of Kiwi cuisine.. ..the pie! Specifically, the Mince & Cheese pie (along with a flat white) from one of the award winning bakeries here in Auckland~

Not perfect by any means (I overcooked one of the 3 cheeses and could have gotten the crust color a bit more even), but definitely not bad for my first pie in the new pizza oven

My home lost power + fiber links + cell service overnight in the Seattle storm, but I’m doing alright, and on the bright side I got a reason to use the satellite connectivity on my iPhone to let friends and family know I’m safe. Currently camped out at the office where there’s heat + power + Inet
