My parents got themselves an induction stove/oven thing for Christmas (the old gas one was breaking, they got a good deal on it) and it's very cute to watch them be like "oh and it has this feature, and this other safety thing, and look how fast I can boil water!" It does indeed seem cool as hell.

Ok now that it's been delivered, I can post my big crochet project. I made a baby blanket for a fiber arts enthusiast friend (they weave and knit, etc) who is expecting. It was a nice challenge project that was a good middle ground between making a full size blanket and a scarf.

Love how much my parents baby my brother's dog when he visits. It's kinda cold up there so they bought her a cozy snuggly bed in her (small/medium) size cuz "it was on sale at Lowes" 😅 They do have dogs but they are super fluffy and huge so they dont give a shit about the cold at all

Got to go to the Asheville Pinball museum and the Moogseum today. Played a lot of pinball and also a theramin and a minimoog from the 70s. Also got to see some Moog prototypes that were visiting from PA (themmt.org )
