New pressure canner (my old one got a warped bottom and that's dangerous, but over 10 years use, so...) on it's second run - 6 quarts of chili on this very cold day. It's been a rough week so far, so chili, fresh baked buns and hanging out at home is where we are at.

I will be truthful. I'm in the bad place. I am angry angry for days now. My husband is fully disabled- social anxiety, agoraphobia, depression. My youngest is military disabled, PTSD other conditions I won't mention. My eldest is in the same spot as me - hiding it because we cannot burden them.

In the meantime, I am reading silly fun things - one of Django Wexler's books, a book about popular toys and how they got invented - some going back millennia. I'll be able to review both soon. I have a goal to make a lot of toys and fun silly things this year - people are going to need them.

OK - working on my Pilcrow Foundation grant books list; I can pick a total of 71 books, plus 15 alternates. I have 61 marked on the older kid's list, not started the younger kid's list yet. I will get this sorted down - and then add the rest to future library shopping lists.

Twice today, I got myself really busy so no one would need to get bail money for me. I did manage to get a lot done - at home and at work.
