How to lose about 50 lbs of beans and rice - bring in one single 1 lb bag of brown rice that was apparently infested. I saved the Great Northern beans, the yellow peas that were vacuum sealed, and a bag 10 bean soup mix. Kidney, pinto, lentil, rice green peas, red beans - all gone. My own fault.

One week until it's been 1 year since the flood. Parts of many towns are still ruins. Rebuilding is not done for a lot of people. Tiny bits of PTSD are hitting everyone, making everyone a bit on edge. But friends are coming home. A friend's house has been fully rebuilt, better than before.
