Apple: The First 50 Years by @davidpogue.bsky.social arrived in the mail today. Looking forward to diving into this behemoth of a book at ~600 pages. I adored my time at Apple and miss it on many days. But I’ll still cheer them on from the sidelines, *especially* the many kind folks I worked with.

I remember how much this physically shook my house as we were getting ready for the day. This happened just as the pandemic was taking hold, and it really shook our already raw nerves too. Remembering holding my son & wife during one of the aftershocks that morning, and how unsettling it all felt.

I managed to catch a pretty nice Utah sunset tonight with some legit alpenglow happening on Mt. Timpanogos. The setting sun was bouncing off the undersides of the clouds, illuminating the mountains.

When he told me, “Dad I’m hungry!” I replied “It’s a simple question son, would you eat the moon if it were made of bbq spare ribs?” And without hesitation he answered…and ate the moon.
