It might just be me but I don’t see any politics as not being about one’s identity. I’m bored of any leftists who keep saying stop with identity politics and take a class focus only. There’s a damn reason that intersectionality exists.

I read a lot of books that can be seen as reminders that much of humanity isn’t shit. But after just finishing Cobalt Red, it’s really hard to work out how we find our way out of this utterly disastrous world we’ve created.

Human stupidity is one hell of a thing.

A nation where so many of the folk who went out to pray for Charlie Kirk, did everything they could to justify the murders of Trayvon Martin and Tamir Rice (and here I’m just picking the children), doesn’t deserve much. And that’s my Sunday thought.
