I don't think people realise how much LLMs are dependent on prompting and how fundamentally a sentence can throw them into disarray. You aren't really hardcoding anything either - it's entirely how the model interprets your prompt. A reckless and nightmarish thing to deploy at scale

What I find so enraging about the whole thing is there is very little reflection in high up circles on WHY they see the information they are seeing. A lot of folks in the Congress, important folks, are completely clueless about how these media systems work. They just unthinkingly work with them.

Schumer still gets reports on what is trending on Twitter and uses it to inform how he should frame messaging. The Dems abandoned trans people once Elon started tweaking the platform to unleash trans hate and get them ratioed.
