In a few weeks we're moving! To a wheelchair accessible house with a fenced yard! It will still need some tweaking, especially the kitchen. We're gonna invite our friend who's also a wheelchair user for dinner once we're settled. He said he hasn't been able to go to anyone else's home in 17 years!

There's lots of these little free libraries in our community. I had to look closely cuz I thought I saw a copy of "Finding the Cheese". Turns out it was just a book of crochet patterns. That won't help me find cheese.

So much is happening that it's hard to keep up. We're going to be moving in a month and need to start packing. I have concerns. What if the delivery truck that brings my food can't find us? What if the dogs in the new neighborhood don't like me? How will I get to the butcher shop??

When people are genuinely happy to see good things happen to others, it's a beautiful thing. So many people are excited and thrilled to see us finally get a wheelchair accessible house with a yard. So many folks pitched in to help us get there. It's the house that love bought ❤️

It's been a busy few weeks with a lot of traveling to rally obedience trials, helping be the demo dog at school, and planning presentations about disabilities at a local university. So today was a play day for me and a catch up on rest day for my human. Unlike me, she needs more than a quick nap!

It's been REALLY hard to keep up with social media lately! Between helping my human give some training classes, dog show season starting, and helping look after my best friend who recently had surgery, my paws are full! But I wanted to pop in and say thank you for being you.

A lot of hard work and maintenance goes into being a working dog.

It's a lazy Sunday heading into a busy week. Monday we Train and get the human fixed up by the doctor, Tuesday we get the van tuned up and I help human teach a class. Wednesday we pack and teach another class. Thursday we head to a Dog Show! Come home Sunday night.

Spring arrived a few days ago. Then it ended and there's so much snow the city is suddenly highly inaccessible by wheelchair again. But yesterday we booked an agility ring at a different dog training facility and met up with some friends for some fun!

I'm the official Captain of the Pink Puppy Club! You should totally join! Also, Spring was Monday to Wednesday. Winter is now back. It keeps us Canadians resilient.

I've never seen a human vandalizing things or doing petty crimes while they were on a leash with a dog at the other end. Therefore, all off leash humans should be caught and taken to a place to be adopted by a good dog. This is how to make the world better! #DogLogic

Our neighborhood isn't very accessible right now. The sidewalk crosses over alleys that are filled with water and slush that are impossible to pass with a wheelchair. So to get a good dog walk we drove to the university where accessibility is a priority, paid for parking and had a good day!

Today I'm wondering how long it will take Edmonton mayor @amarjeetsohiyeg.bsky.social to respond to our request to a wheelchair tour of neighborhood so he maybe he can help find a way to educate the city department managers with the @cityofedmonton.bsky.social on basic accessibility.

Life is different now that it's just the two of us. But we're picking up the pieces.

❤️ First date went well.

It's been a day of advocacy. The city of Edmonton made a feeble attempt to clear some snow and ended up piling it on the sidewalk making it even less accessible for my wheelchair. Then I had a local service dog team reach out because they were denied access on the train. This needs big barks.

I haven't posted much here lately. We've been struggling a bit. On January 8th, Kuno passed away. It was completely unexpected and now our world is not right. I'm trying to get back into a routine for Chesnyy and I but it's hard. She's not herself. I'm not myself. It'll take time.

Our 2024 had some really ruff times. And it had some absawoofly amazing times. Human health issues made things difficult. And dog health issues came about as we end the year, but that's getting better. But we've come so far and it's because of folks that support our goals & dreams. Happy 2025!

For Christmas, Kuno had surgery. He would have preferred roast beefs. But from our little family to yours, Merry Christmas!

I asked Santa for a wheelchair accessible house with a fully adapted kitchen and a yard to play in or the cash to buy it because we don't have a magic chimney and the door isn't wide enough to fit it. But that's probably too much so a knuckle bone would be great! #ChristmasWithKuno

Well...Bluesky still won't let me upload adorable videos of dogs decorating for the holidays because it's says they are longer than the 60 second maximum. They're 59 seconds. I think they just don't want y'all to know Rottweilers decorate better than humans.

I was going to share our 59 second long gingerbread house making video from this afternoon. But Bluesky keeps giving me an error saying I can only upload videos a maximum of 60 seconds long. So now I'm working on a counting tutorial. 59 comes before 60.
