Georgia Power is on the verge of getting its massive $15 billion+ spending plan approved. On Wednesday, Georgia PSC staff announced it had reached a settlement with Georgia Power to approve spending billions to add 10 gigawatts of electricity to power data centers.

Even the Public Service Commission's staff say Georgia Power's plan for a massive electric infrastructure expansion is a bad idea.
